Chrome peeling from Avantek/ANZ wheels
How long do chromed wheels generally last until they start to pit and deteriorate?
I have a set of Avantek Wheels (Now known as ANZ) which are barely three years old and have covered about 5000 Miles. The last 18 months the car has been laid up.
The wheels have always been kept clean, the car is garaged 100% of the time.
The manufacturers aren't interested in replacing them as their warranty is only 12 months, but have offered to sell me another set at wholesale price. Which might be OK if they ever returned my calls (4 so far) with a price... And I'm not sure I really want another set of these..
Has anyone else had trouble with chrome wheels in general, and this brand in particular? They were NOT a cheap wheel....
