CCW wheels

Broke down and place an order with Chip...17x10" 7.5" backspacing and 17x9" 7.0" backspacing...it has been a week and wheels are in process of being build.

Wheels are polished Street version.

Can't wait to get them. Will post pictures once got them.

Thanks.

Go w/ a 255/40 front tire instead (you have the 9" wheel for it). 245/45 is too tall, and will tear up your fenders and liners. You'll thank me for it!

P.S. in Texas, why not get the real-deal KD's?

It does rain here in Dallas...some very heavy like couple Sunday ago...I was caught in a rain storm...I like the KD's tread pattern more than the KDWs.

Thanks for the advice on the front tire.

I wish CCW made larger centers for their 18s. After looking at the pics of the 17s above the 18 centers look a bit undersized. Max, sorry for using one of your pics to demonstrate my negative ccw point

do CCWs have sizes like 8.5 and 9.5 with a offset of around 40?

They are built-to-order wheels and you specify the sizes and offsets.

I have a set of 18x10.5 CCW's with titanium bolts that are around 19.5lbs each. 285/30/18 Hoosiers at each corner. They are the race rubber. You can't really use this much tire on the street (safely at least).

Call up John Purner at CCW in FL and he will hook you up.

No problem on using my pic.

I heard they do have larger centers for the 18s now. I think some folks on here have them already. Does anyone have pics? It would be interesting to see both for comparisons.
