Caster & Camber
Good Afternnon,
I have a 1994 Third Generation RX-7 that I club race. It has seen time at Watkins Glen, Limerock and Pocono. I plan on taking it to Daytona later this year to run the 24 hours of Daytona Track with a car club.
Question regarding Caster and Camber:
Anyone have any technical spec's they have utilized and with good results in setting the wheel alignment, front and rear, for the track that they may want to share? Especially agressive twisy/turny coarses. Currently the car is set up with the factory specs althought I am running (235) 19 inch wheels up front and (285) 20 inch in the rear.
Thanx

Before you get flamed, here is the thread you should look at. https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/howard-colemans-fd-chassis-setup-723617/
He gives good suggestions on suspension settings to start off with.

Max out your caster, keep the thrust angle at zero, use a pinch of toe-in unless you prefer more, and adjust your camber to get the right distribution of temperature from the tire inside to outside.
The FD is very camber-tolerant because it adds negative camber in roll. Most cars are very camber-sensitive because their suspensions use inferior geometry.
