I just replace all the bushings on my FD. Currently the car has not been aligned yet. What I am showing you on the pictures was like that before touching the suspension. I assumed that this would be corrected after the rebuild.
Would anyone know why one wheel would be closed to the front bumper than the other side?
Would the alignment correct this? Seems like the wheel has to move towards the rear of the car. 🤷 The wheels are turned inward slightly. When straight it's not that noticeable.
The second pic looks like the white bumper has a sharper curve to it causing it to angle closer to the tire. Can you provide more 1/4 view pics of the car from further away?
What bumper is it? Cheap plastic bumpers could vary greatly from side to side.
It's a 99 spec bumper. Unfortunately with the car up on all fours it's to close to my cabinets where I can't get a further shot. This is the best I could take....
I assume that the suspension doesn't have adjustment to move the wheel back and forth?
The wheels look inconsistent in the photos. Some photos the wheel looks like it's straight while others it looks like they are angled inward. Did you move or touch the steering wheel during any of those photos?
First off make sure both eccentric bolts in the lower control arms are set in the middle on both sides of the car. From there make sure the steering wheel is straight. Then look to see if the wheels are pointing straight ahead and adjust the toe links until they are roughly straight. You can use some flat plywood that's flush against the wheel and two measuring tapes to get the toe pretty close to straight.
Difficult to judge with the car in the air. Post some pics once it's on the ground.
Caster could play a part in what you are seeing. So could variations in the manufacturing of aftermarket body parts (if you are running any)
