can I use the stock locking lugnut with my volks?
#3
I think they are fine on the clamping end. I am using a bunch of stock lugs on my SE37Ks after I galled a bunch of the ones that came with the Volks at the track (Hint: don't torque them over 85 ft-lbs, especially if you'll be cooking your brakes).
The only problem is that the key for the wheel-lock lugs is about the same size as the hole, which means you'll probably scratch the sides of the hole. For that reason, I don't reccomend the stock locks. I am sure you can get some locking lugs that have a smaller diameter key, though.
