Can an 275/40/18 fit the rear of fd

can 275/40/18 fit my fd rear wheel? plz little help. i want to have a more comfort ride willing it go for 265/40/18 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Then I'd recommend looking into 17 inch rims or softer suspension. You do not want a 40 series sidewall with 18 inch rims, your FD will look like a monster truck and the much taller rolling diameter will seriously slow you down.

Also, why are you looking at runflat tires? That's another big negative.

when i look at the 17/40 at the rear, it look so dingy and small compare the front

275/40/18? Are you looking to float on water?

get a 275/35/18. Also, there'll be significant variance in stiffness of sidewalls between brands.
