Camber Plates with Stock FC springs ?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is running stock style FC springs ( Stock/RB/Intrax/ETC), and using Camber plates.

I thought I found a way ( cut the stock top tower then installed the stock hat, stock cut tower and then camber plate on top , but soon found out it would be too high for the screw to reach the dampener.

So I was wondering what people have done in the way of using Camber plates with stock style springs.

New custom spring hat ? , a spacer ? anyone.

Thanks

Could you widen the hole in the stock spring hat? It doesn’t necessarily have to be bolted to the plate. It can slide up and down the strut shaft.

I was thinking of doing this, but doing so would load the springs. I dont know if I wanted to do that just yet.

( I know theres quite a few coilovers that offer preload, But I dont know if that would be my answer ).

But thanks alot , maybe you are right.

Anyone else

I would doubt that it'd work because the spring is way too big in diameter to allow it to move around much/at all in the strut tower.
