Brembo Gran Turismo Front and REAR!!!

Hey guys,

Just to tease myself I was looking on the Yahoo Japan auctions to see what kind of goodies they have and I came across these Brembo Gran Turismo BBK for FD3s. but now that I go back to look for it I can't find it. Something like this:
http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e63917969

However, there was a seperate kit for there rear brakes that seemed to conserve the same size ratio and there was a parking brake.

I am wondering if this exists? If I was halucinating when I saw this? Or what is the deal?

Thanks for the help,

Alex

Yes, Ntech Eng was selling a kit like that.....for over $5k. That Brembo stuff is so badly overpriced it's not funny. Over $3k for something no better than an $1800 Stoptech kit.

I agree that at 5,000 that is alot of money. But I had understood that the Stoptech did not retain the parking brake on the rear brakes. Although I agree this would not be worth 3,200$.

I know RE-Amemiya also sells a set of 4 Pots made by AP but I beleive they are front only and are around 2,000$

Stoptech doesn't sell rear brakes for the FD. Neither does anyone else. Why? Because it's COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. The 99+ OEM rear brakes are as much braking as anyone would ever need on the FD platform. Then again, lots of people upgrade their front brakes without ever needing to either, so I guess it's a moot point.

I thought also that there was noone making rear BBK's for the FD and that is why when on the Yahoo Auctions Japan site I saw the Brembo I was shocked.

I will find it and I will give the link.

I meant no one other than that Brembo kit that only Ntech was selling. Even though Nick sells it, I bet he'd cheerfully tell you it's completely pointless.
