Brembo Front Rotors

Will a pair of slotted front Brembo discs increase the performance of the stock brakes?, or are they just useful for fade-resistance?

duh

I guess some info helps...
1990 N/A
17" rims (can i squeeze bigger discs inside these?)

Also, I was wondering how you tell whether the brakes use 2 or 4 piston calipers?

Thanks!,

Unless u do some heavy duty track racing, you really can't tell the difference in the performance. The braking performance gain is very marginal with street driving. They are more for looks than anything else.

Pads?

Thanks for the info!

How much of a difference will different pads make for, say, driving downhill oh a twisty mountain road :-) (or aggressive street driving)

i just put on a front set and was kind of dissapointed (but what was i expecting). there was very litte change i noticed but there was a better fell when i went down the mountain than previous runs. one thing i did notice the other day when leaving the mall was a couple of ricers(civic with the usual stickers and 1 mod the intake)were drooling over my brakes.

Cool Drool is good

Will a 'big brake kit' increase stopping power significantly (I guess that they'd better for about 2 G's!)? Also, do cross-drilled rotors exhibit the cracking when street driven? (I've heard bad things about their longevity when used on a track)
