brake piston dust boost lubrication?

I forgot to lubricate my dust boots when rebuilding my front calipers.
Do they actually need grease?

I also didn't grease the seal, but just used brake fluid.

I will make sure to grease the rears, since the rear pistons need to rotate.

My rebuild kit came with two different types of grease and some sort of clear oil, but it was included in the rear piston kit, so I assumed the fronts didn't need lubrication.

Never mind… I went back and greased the boots.
