Brake help, no air in the lines, but no pedal.

I've asked numberous people about this, i've had friends over saying i was an idiot and didn't know what i was doing, they tried and the results were the same.

This is on my Civic, i posted on ClubSi and haven't had any replies, maybe someone here knows what is going on.

I removed my calipers to paint due to the previous owner painting them white, i reinstalled and tried bleeding them front only (drum in the rear), no pedal, i then tried bleeding the back, still no pedal. I then tried like how it's supposed to be done, right rear, left front, left rear, right front, still no pedal.

When i pump the pedal it holds pressure fine, when i let off and let it sit for a few seconds, the pedal is completely gone. At one point when i bled them, i had pedal, but it required pressing the pedal to the floor until it stopped.

Help!

Are the calipers on right side up? I've seen people mix the left and right after they removed them and this leaves the bleed screw on the bottom. Bleed screw has to be at the top to let the air out.

If you removed all the calipers and the brake reservoir ran dry because you didn't plug the lines then you have air trapped in the master cylinder that regular bleeding won't remove. Sounds like you may need to bench bleed the master cylinder.

Success!

Here is a video to film this joyous occasion, pardon the car running like trash and the *** camera man, the chip is a bad burn.

The audio is terrible in both of these after i uploaded them, the origionals sounded fine.
