Blitz Type 03 Wheels

I'm about to purchase the Bllitz Type 03 wheels, 18X8 in the front and 18X9 in the rears. Does anybody have any pictures of them on a FD3S?

U should go with 18x10's in the rear. The extra inch will give u a bigger lip so you can go with a wider tire. 275/35/18 or 285/30/18

I thought about putting 18X10, but I though it might be to wide. I definitely want a bigger lip so I probably will go with a 18X10 in the rear. Thanks R-magic!!!

If you like to to turn don't but humoungus(sp)? Tires in the back, it'll cause mean understeer unless you do the same in the front.

I'm still learning so don't flame me !!! Doesn't the FD have the tendency to oversteer? In theroy would wider tires help cure the oversteer a little bit?

pretty nutral stock, with a nasty snap oversteer if you aren't ready for it. but snap oversteer is different from normal oversteer, bigger tires out back wouldnt so much eliminate it, but raise the place at which it happens to potentially a harder speed to recover. but that's just with stock suspension... fwik

Hornestly, I don't think FD looks best with the rims......I was looking at these set too. But, opps for others. The rims look heavenly not on cars. I saw one in a shop and liked it. Then, I saw them on a car and change my mine.

For the size, go for the largest as you will most likely add more power later anyway. And, the width of the tire is not only the consideration.....also the height. I mean you can get 265/35/18. It seems to be big, but it's only a bit taller than stock.

POM HB

PS. No offen to any of us who have the rims. Remember, that's just opinion of my own.

On the subject, here's pics of my car with 18x10s rear 17x8s front, the rear tires are 275/35s, they'd be mighty close on a lowered car, might require some fender lip massage and a little extra camber...I haven't decided if im going to go to a slightly narrower tire or just roll with it, I think they'll be ok with a touch of camber.
