Blitz 03's 18x9 45mm with stock springs?

I am about to order some wheels, and want the Blitz 03's, but they skip from 18x8 to 18x9. I want 9's and 10's but I'm not sure if I can fit 9" in the front without coilovers. 45mm is the offset that suprastore said would fit, they called Blitz while I was on hold. What do you guys think? I have a set of S02 PP's in 225x40 and 285x30 in the garage almost new, I know the 225's are skinny but I would just like to use them for a month or two until I recover from the wheels.

18x9 w/45mm offset in front will most likely rub or at a minimum pull the fender lip the first time you hit a bump while turning a corner. Like when entering a driveway. With the 225 front tires you might squeak by (those are REALLY skinny for a 9" wide rim though) but move up to a 245 or 255 and "rub" will be your middle name. Then again it's your car but my guess is you will have a problem.

FWIW I run 17x9 w/45mm offset with 255/40's on all 4 corners - my front fender lips are rolled.

You'll have no problems what so ever. I had 18X9 +42s on mine with 255/35/18. A better tire size up front would be 245/35/18 to be safe. (not because of the width, but because its shorter in overall diameter).

The phenomenon where the fender lip gets pulled out does not have to do with tire width or wheel size/offset - but rather overall tire diameter. It sounds strange, I know. I'll explain later what I mean when I finish work.

Shouldn't be a problem so long as you pick the right tire size.

I have 9 x 17 with 255/40-17 Yokohama AVS I's, with H&R Sport Springs and Stock R1 shocks. No rubbing whatsoever...
