Bilstein shocks for FC?

All the websites that sell bilsteins for 2nd gen rx7s say: "The front inserts require modifying the OEM strut housing"

Tried searching the forums but I only have the app on my phone.

Can someone please explain exactly what I have to do

They're like konis. You have to cut the top section of the strut off and slide the bilstein insert into it and bolt it through a hole in the bottom. much like our 3000GT inserts fit in the custom housings in the link above^

Here are some pictures of installing konis on corolla (similair)
