I've commented on them on several other threads, but to sum it up they are great and ride nice. I researched before buying mine and I found that the most praise came from the Nissan 240sx guys who many said that the fortune 500's rode smoother than the stances. The 500's are stout and build quality is good, compared to the stances I read both were about the same on quality. Track wise I can't comment on the stances, but the 500's have been used in track setting with good feedback from it's users.

You can talk to RotaryNationFD on these forums and he can hook you up with a discount as well, I used that discount to upgrade my springs to Swift springs. I'm using a 11/9k setup and it rides really nice at 25" height. Customer service is awesome as well and you can even get sponsored by Fortune Auto if you enter in any race events, the money can be added towards a higher end coilover system from them. A few other members have been running Fortune Auto 500's, but you can search and see their feed back as well. Good luck with your decision.

If interested, I have a set of HKS Hypermax Spot 3 I am selling for $999 shipped. They retailed for over $2100 and most stores sold them for $1800. Very versatile coilover that would ride smooth on the street and be great for the occasional track day. Includes our full one year warranty. We have plenty of other options, on name brand and quality coilovers.

There are some comments on S2KI about the Fortune coilovers on the track:

I just put Fortune 510s on my FC. They are GREAT on the track, and ride well on the street surprisingly. I would not hesitate to recommend a set for the street. Call or email them to get their recommendations on spring rates for your application. I chose to go slightly softer in the rear than their recommendation.

Out of curiosity, what are the spring rates you're using in your FC? How much track use does your car get? Why did you go with the 510's, not the 500 series?

12k front 9k rear. The car is built for the track, and sees a lot of track time. Even with these rates it is drive able on the street.

I got the 510s because they have a couple parts included that are upgrades on the 500 series. They also have upgraded internals, and are built by hand and dynoed.
