Best Zink plated cross/drilled rotors?
Hey guys, for the spring id like to upgrade my rotors and pads. Id like to go for some zink plated, as i like the look of them. And either cross or drilled rotors. I don't track my car, but i may a few times this summer.
i found some super nice EBC rotors cross and drilled for 178 shipped for the front set.
Any other recommendations? I dont want to spend a whole lot of money on them but around 180 for the front set would be good.

keeps the pad and surface clean, but cross drilled is just useless these days.
Personally from experience I would recommend "PowerSlot" rotors.
look it up.

some rotors do come both crossed drilled and slotted however.
crossed or drilled is not an option. (pffft NEwb. lol)
I believe the generally consensus says slotted are better then cross drilled, Like my stop techs

your two options are "crossed drilled rotors" OR "slotted rotors".

And yes, i DON'T want Drilled and slotted, just one. And preferably Slotted. The EBC ones i seen are really nice and for the front set of rotors shipped are 178.00.

The Zinc plating WILL wear off pretty quick, especially if you drive at all aggressively. It might also harm the pads. I don't think I'd ever consider buying from someone selling plated rotors, it shows that they're much more interested in making a sale to a poor, ignorant person than selling a good product. Not the sort I'd want to deal with.
If you're worried about the appearance, paint the non friction surface of the rotors, it'll keep them from getting rusty and ugly.
