Best tire for the FD?

I'm need to get a set of tires for the rear to be used on the street. What kind is the best for the stock wheels. I was thinking of potenza's. What do you guys think?

Ive had G-Force KD's on the rear of my car for about 4000 miles now, and absolutely love them.

Yup, KD or KDW, S-03, Toyo T1S are phenomenal tires. Really comes down to your function. We have very good pricing on Toyo and S-03's. Hit me up. I'm putting together a tire club price list for you guys in my vendor section. Look for it this week.

If you go with the G-Force, get the KD not the KDW - very different tire. (assuming you don't do a lot of driving in the rain)

Don't forget Pirelli P-Zero's... They're fantastic tires, aren't super expensive, and because they come OEM on Lamborghini's, your friends will like you better & chicks will dig you. Seriously, I had some on my FD - they're great tires.

I really like the Yokohama AVS ES100 that I just put on my car. They are quite reasonably priced (245/45/16 for $580 at Discount Tire), so far seem to grip quite well and are quiet.

I think the KD is the only one really meant for dry primarily. But I was just making a general statement. The other three will work well all things considered regardless of function or weather to an extent, snow aside. lol.

Rollndirty is right...
I have had G-Force T/A KDW's on my car for 6000 miles now. They are affordable and awesome. They grip the road great. BF Goodrich is made by Michelin, but at a better price.

I got the S03's right now and they are great. Really grippy. The old tires I had Dunlop SP8000's I think would allways break lose for second or two when I shifted fast from 1st to second. One time when I shifted to 2nd with the old ones I did a small burnout on the road, smelled rubber and looked back the there was a cloud I was thinking about the BFG's, but I heard they wear fast, but maybe that means softer and grip better than S03's. For those with the BFG how are they holding up?

I had the KDW's for almost a year and they lasted pretty well. They wore earlier than I would've liked, but that was more my doing than the tires ... I started running a lot of negative camber. Auto-x and time trialing doesn't help much with treadlife either. And since they're directional tires, you can't flop 'em. Excellent dry grip tire and pretty good in the rain though.

After having driven in a hi-po FD with some Toyo T1S's, I am sold on them as my next set of street tires. If Rishie has good pricing on the Toyo's, I'd say go with the T1S's.

I'm looking to get rid of these drag radials, and go with some S03's myself. I miss handling.

Azenis are not availale in the stock size. I would go with S-03s or Kumho Ecsta MXs.

Potenzas are the best I've had on my car and its been 9 years....I hate Michelin's by the way, specifically in the rain.

I'm lucky to be alive still because of those pieces of sh*t.
Plus the Potenzas are cheaper (but the Michelins did
look better a bit).

Have those currently. Not a bad tire for the money and it's Z rated. But sorry to say thread is super hard and is not to gripy. Going with S-03's next!

Anyone ever own both the S03 as well as the BF goodrich G-force? I wonder what the difference in performance between these two tires are
