I ended up getting the FK-451's because it seemed to me that they were the best combination of price, performance and lifespan. I've had them on for a couple weeks and so far they are great! They seem to stick pretty well, they look good and they shouldn't wear out too soon either. The real test will be in a couple months when I go to the driving school, and then I'll be able to see how good they really are. I'll post my experience and opinion of them after I get back.

I got toyo's for roughly $86 each. I got proxes 4's in 225/50/VR16. Awesome tires. And I have tried to break them loose in the rain with no avail. I think they are like 330 tread wear. I know you didn't mention them but check them out.

Get toyo T1-s at www.tiresavings.com. For your size they would be in the low hundreds per tire and have amazing handling with 280 treadwear. Have them on my mazdaspeed.
