best deal on tires

Here is the prices of tires that the shop that I'm buying my rims from is offering:

Bridgestone S03 $1052
Continental Conti Sport $932
Dunlop SP9000 $954
Michelin Pilor Sport $1108
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 $$1080
Avon $752
Kumho $710
Yokohama ES100 $766

the tire sizes are Fr: 255/35/18
Rr: 275/35/18

OPINIONS...WHAT IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK?

OR ANY SUGGESTIONS OR OTHER OPTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

This should be in the suspension/wheels/tires section.

Check out Toyo T1-s prices here: http://www.ec-securehost.com/OnlineT...Toyo_T1-S.html

Your tire shop is offering you good prices for those tires, but I would pick up a set of Toyo T1-S -- about $800 from the site adamc linked to. Otherwise go with either the S-03s or the PS2s.

My first choice would be the S03's, That's what's on my car now. My next set will be the Toyo's as per Rynberg's post. If you have a Costco nearby check there prices on the S03's. They rock. I paid $727.40 tax & all. Size was 245/45/16.

No. The ES100 DOES suck compared to most of those tires.

That's why I recommended the Toyo T1-S. Cheapest does not mean the best value.

I guess you shouldn't have bought 18-inch wheels then.....Sorry to sound harsh, but that's the way it is.

well its was my choice to get 18's and also my own choice to go with yokos cuz i had them on my bmw and were great

its not like ima autocross my FD or canyon run it everyday , i just want affordable tires with ok performance

i havent had experience with toyos and i bet they are btter but its just about personal choice

Kumhos MX are a max rated tire that performs right up there with the S03.

MX are ok.. I'd rate them at around the same as the old RE730, but not the S03.

I had a set of ES100s and they DO suck. Even when warmed up, they're slicker than fresh dogshit.

Lots of people buy them because their tread pattern looks "cool" ( ) and they're cheap. As far as performance goes, they're mediocre at best.
