ON best brake kits

what is the best possible brake kit i can get for relatively cheap price for a winter daily driver fc3s (if i manage to buy it that is)...definitely not brembo, but what usually works well with Mazdas?

for the winter.......? Stock everything.....ur in Canada, don't you have terrible winter weather? Other than that the best brake mod you can do for a 7 in the winter is a different DD.

If aren't tracking the car, there is no need for another brake kit over OEM. Just get some decent brake pads.

Ok dutily noted. I guess i should keep it stock until i buy an series 8 FD and then ill customize the FC as my tracker

Ive seen some people do ridiculous things like swap porsche boxter brakes on their rx8s even though its their daily driver . I mean just because theyre the same weight doesnt mean that you need those breaks on ur rx.

From what I understand, the only reason for a BBK is to avoid overheating the brakes. Which is only a problem on the track for these cars, much less of a problem in winter! An noted above, stock size rotors (no holes) and some good street pads. (EBC, Hawk, Porterfield all have good offerings among others.)
