Arrow Besides rhdjapan where can I find RZ/RS brake backing plates?

I'm having no luck finding Mazda BBK RS/RZ Spirit R backing plates front and rear.

You pay a premium for these type of parts through RHD Japan because you cannot personally order them from a Mazda dealership in Japan. That's where they come from.

I see. I'm hoping to find some used backing plates if possible.

you can try looking on YJA but it might be a while as most sellers probably sell the bigger brake setup as a kit

Go back to the forum you got the pic from. These aren't just RZ plates, they're also on RS's and some Spirit R's. We have hundreds of those cars on FDRX7.com

Start a WTB thread there, see how you go.

All welcome

Any specific reason why you want the brake dust shields? Only reason i ask is that most people with BBK do not run a dust shield. I myself just got a set or RZ brakes as well and do plan on putting the dust shields on because i'm **** like that but it isn't essential to have.

And it will look like i need to join fdrx7 as well as you did find a set really quickly.

Mazda Motorsports can get the backing plates. They have to be ordered from Japan, but they can get them.

I'm just **** the only reason, most just cut the lip off with some tin snips. It does serve a purpose to force direct air to the rotors

Thank you Gomez It wasn't but a couple hours before somebody said I have a used set on fdrx7 awesome.

RHDJapan can order them but they want an arm and a leg $400 for the set.

I have brand new never used ones I bought many years ago but its been 15 years and last I knew they were in my parents basement.
I've since moved 400 miles away.

I can try to see if my dad can look around for them but its hard to say if they were not thrown out or not.

PM me your contact information.
