From what I read it is that the value of the euro was less than expected vs that of the markets buying product. Also, key buyers didn't come through and they didn't get the tax break they were looking for from the German government.

I would expect prices to go down because they are going to be trying to liquidate stock.

i blame it on all the crappy wheel companies using up all the aluminum and selling their crap wheels for rock bottom prices.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. They will continue to restructure but with less companies willing to give them credit. They should be able to bring themselves back in the black.
