Bap-Geon/Raybestos brake kit info

I went looking to get some brake hardware kits for my 3rd gen. I noticed the post here, that NAPA sold one.

I went to NAPA online, couldn't find the part. I called and was told they would have to special order, and the guy recommended that I could get it quicker from Bap/Geon, since they do more import parts.

I called Bap/Geon and was able to get the kit, 2 actually, 1 for each from caliper.

The M-Clips are spot on, but that is it. The pins were too short, and the pin retainer clip was also short. I will post the part number when I remember so you know the details...

That's weird. I ordered from NAPA and got the brake kit in like 2 days. The NAPA kit pins are the correct length, however they lack the holes for the retaining clip. I suppose you could drill your own into the new pins.

Yeah, unfortunately Mazda is so kind as to not sell the brake kits separate from the OEM brake pads ... which cost $92 for just the fronts! Even with the Mazdaspeed discount, it's still $55. No thanks .... I'll spend my $11 and re-use retaining pins and clips.
