bad brake master cylinder again

well i recently purchased a used master cylinder and brake booster from this guy, i installed the m/c and booster in my car and it worked fine for a coulpe of days, but after a day or two i seen that it was leaking where the m/c connects to the booster( the booster's paint was peeling due to the spillage from the fluid, so for sure it was leaking) thats the same place where it leaked before, did i get another faulty m/c or is there something else wrong, thanks

Was the rubber seal in place on the rear of the MC where it goes into the booster and in good condition? I almost installed one without the seal once by accident, it comes off fairly easily.

If you need another one, I have one to sell - which I will guarantee .
