To get useful reccomendations you need to tell us more about the use. A tire might be great for racing, but terrible in the rain, and wear out quickly, or it might last a long time and be quiet, but not perform that well. So tell us what you want the tire to do, then some useful reccomendations can be made.

I'm on my 2nd set of BFG KDW2's, and when they're toast, I'mma get another set.

Great grip on the dry stuff, and hands down the BEST rain tire I've ever driven on. It's doesn't exactly flash-flood around here, but in moderate rain, they're confidence inspiring in a big way.

Yea, the Azenis are about as sticky as you can go with a street tire.

yeah azenis are really sticky, i've gove through about 6 sets of them on my cars. i dont run them on the fd though because they get greasy pretty easily. i'm afraid that after a few laps my traction will disappear. on my miata they are ok because its so light and makes no power.

does anyone have experience with rt615's on the track with over 300rwhp? i would like to know how they held up.

why not consider a unshaved Toyo RA1,.....i like them alot on the street, they ride smooth with the softer sidewall...great in the rain.... it will hold up well to the track heat, nothing lasts on track so what the hell..

I think the BFG KDWs are a good choice. So are Azenis.

here are my choices

Falken Azenia <---------- Almost impossible to beat the Falken line for a sticky street tire
BFG g-force sport <------ I love these tires great grip
Yokohama A032R <----- more of a drag radial with a touch more tread but SUPER STICKY

The FM-901 has been described as a ricer tire, looks good, doesn't perform too well.

You guys are throwing out tire suggestions that are all over the map. The Azenis and the KDW2/g-force sport are not even close to being in the same class. The Azenis will run circles around the KDW2 or g-force sport.

I understand that, as I've used tires of that class before, but if someone wants the best then why reccomend something that's not?

Well, the OP said they want a tire for "mainly like racing but also can be used as a daily driver tire", but still "and i'm kinda running low on money but i can afford what is the best", and so the title of the thread is "B.E.S.T. Tires".

So it's obvious that it won't matter what tire they use since they obviously don't have the knowledge or experience to know the difference, nor the common sense to ask a useful question.

Has anyone ever used the Nitto NT-01?? Was just wondering how well they stick. I mainly drag race and was thinking of these or the azenis.

I can't believe RT615's were mentioned but no the Kuhmo Ecsta MX and Hankook RS-2's werent. The later two are great lower cost alternatives to the RT615 having a smidge less grip.

Bridgestone RE-01R, 1.00g capable in the dry, 0.84 g capable in the rain
Yokohama Advan Neova AD07

The two best street tires you can buy right now.

I'm currently running BFG G force KD and love them. Older technology, but they're very stable and grippy on the street, even at 400+ rwhp.

The RE-01Rs look pretty good, but for stock size 225/50/16 they're only available in 'V' speed rating (149 mph), they're not available at all in 245/46/16, and in 17 inch sizes for my Fikses the widest they go is 245? What is Bridgestone thinking?

Well the advan Neova do not come in 275/40/17 so that's out. So I'm thinking of the rt615 or the BF goodrich kd's. I have the Nitto NT-555 and I have nothing but wheel spin when the boost kicks in. In desperate need of something that will stick and launch me forward instead of to the sides.
