Is the Autoexe Brace combo Overkill?

For a street driven car that's also used on the occasional track days..

would the front and rear towers.. plus the under body Brace set be overkill?

does it work? or is it just marketing?

If you don't plan on installing a 4pt roll bar, then it will stiffen the chassis no doubt. The front brace makes oil filter changes difficult and you have to remove the entire thing to do any work on your car (i.e. with my Cusco front bar, I just undo one bolt and swing it out of the way).

The reason I mention a 4pt roll bar is that proper roll bars and cages significantly stiffen the car. However, that also makes driving on not so good streets very rough. IMO, if you aren't building a dedicated track car, don't bother with them. If you are, then get the front bar and add a 4pt roll bar and you'll be as stiff as you'll ever need.

say you had a vert like some of the members on this forum...wouldnt the extra bracing be beneficial? I mean obviously it would but would the 4pt like Mahjik said be enough?
