SSR Forged GT F01

I was reading tuner mags again and I saw an ad for the new SSR GT F01 wheels... too bad 5/114.3 is only available in the 18-inch size. The 49 offset is nearly perfect for the FD. I'm looking for 17-inch wheels with an 8 or 8.5 inch width (8 preferred).

Does anybody have good or bad experiences with SSR wheels on the street or track? They seem fairly well established.

I'm also considering the Enkei PF01 and Work Emotion CR Ultimate (a bit heavy).

SSRs are quality wheels, Ive owned a few sets. May I ask why you dont want to step it up on your widths?

Thanks for the input.

I don't want to roll my fenders and I'm not sure if I need a lot more grip – I might be able to stretch 235/245 on 8" wheels. I plan to put Michelin Pilot Super Sports on this set.

The car is 80% street, 20% track, but the track time is mainly track school and lapping, not competitive.

Good one, thanks. I've looked at their wheels before, but I like these new ones more.
