You can get different spring rates, but originally that's what they come with.

Those are WAY too stiff for any kind of street driving and many would say those are too stiff for most track driving as well.

There's a reason they use those on their DRIFT car....

if paying over $2.4k get something that's rebound and compression adjustable, i got n1 pro on mine since i could get'em cheaper. It is stiff, and 16kg/mm all around is little too stiff on rear, i wanted 14kg/mm on my rear, but apex-i wanted little too much for that special order. It is stiff on street, especially in l.a. but when you get to a track, all things are forgiven.

More distressing than the actual rates is the fact that they are the same front to rear... can you say oversteer?

No sh*t. But since they say "Apexi" on them everyone thinks they are the greatest!

It's the go-kart suspension! Seriously though, no wonder they had to reinforce the shock towers on the drift car so much.

if i could spend 2k over, i'd have gotten ohlins. frankly, none of the hks, apex-i, tein or whatever aren't worth 2.4k. Get double adjustable damper coilover, ohlins, JRZ, penske or whatever, more money, then get outside reservior one. i sold my last R1 to apex-i employee, i had no choice to get it at that price. it's a good coilover but not the best.
