Question Anywhere ship Nittos Internationally?

Anyone know of any friendly tyre places (preferably with e-mail) that would be willing to ship Nittos abroad?

Have been in touch with Nitto direct, but they aren't interested in selling their rubber in the UK, so it's onto plan B. I'm after 3 pairs of 555r's in varying sizes if anyone knows anywhere that could help.

Thanks

why would you want to deal with the shipping cost when you could get better tires for less locally?

Road legal drag tyres don't really seem to exist in the UK (if you know otherwise please let me know), and a competition later in the year requires the tyres to be road legal.

I wont be running them on the road, just purely for this one day (and practice for it).

Well from what I have heard there aren't many DOT drag tires because to make a tire DOT you loose most of the features that make a drag tire a drag tire. Basically I'm saying that unless you are looking for that extra .1 second you will be better off with a good Z or V rated tire from the UK. Proper air pressure and a tune up will get you better 1/4 times than spending lots of money in shipping tires.

But thats just my opinion. If you are looking for a tire supplier to ship tires to the UK I'd suggest just getting on google and e-mailing every company you can. Try tires.com for example.

Thanks, I'm afraid I will be looking for every 0.1sec I can find :o I'll be running road legal slicks for the handling section, but it's very difficult to get under 1.9sec 60' on them for the straight line stuff.
