Anyone running 245/40/17 ?

Just bought a set for the rear .. I took a huge hit on titans messup so I had to kind of downgrade on tires a little bit, but nevertheless i got a good deal on 245 instead of 255

Just wondering who is running them .. and if there is that much of a difference on the sidewall between a 245 and 255

I used to run 'em all around. They'll be fine... just a little shorter (lower profile). That's an E36 M3 rear tire.

There is when you're comparing a 245/40 and a 255/45....I suggest reading the stickied tech links to understand tire sizing.

Actually, I believe that's the E36 M3 front tire as well. Should be a fine combo.

Well, there is only a 4mm difference (255-245 = 10, 10 * 0.4 = 4mm).
