Anyone running 235/45/16 on stock rims?

I am thinking about getting 235/45/16's on all 4 corners.
Can i run 235's up front without the tires rubbing.
thanks.

Haven't seen that size before, 235/45-16...you sure you don't mean 235/45-17? The 16 might be a tad short in overall diameter. This will overestimate your speedometer increase your rear-end gearing...the cheap of changing to a 4.30 ring-and-pinion gear ratio

Go with 245 45 16. This is the correct "PLUS" size to go with from the stock 225 50 16. Its a bit wider with almost the same overall height so it doesnt change your speedo.

When my car had a stock suspension, I ran 245/45/16 all around with BFG Comp TA R1 (the old R1s), and with Toyo Proxes RA-1 (still being sold). No problems with rubbing.

I now have a lower car (1 to 2 inches lower is my guess) with the M2/AD coilover system, and run the Toyos. No problems with rubbing.

My car is lowered, with 245/45/16 Toyos also.

AutoX frequently with zero rubbing problems.

You'll be fine.

Before asking this question you might want to confirm that the size is available. Like SleepR1 said we have yet to see this size available. We study this stuff religiously. I'm sure he had the same expression on his face when he read this as I do right now. lol.

Please let us know what brand and model makes that. i'm interested.
