That's because FD owners don't run Rotas. Leave the Rotas to the Subaru owners (they seem to love them for some reason).

If you want QUALITY wheels. But the ones that the Slipstreams were modeled after. The Desmond Regamister (sp?)

Previous owner of the wheels is "Touge Monster" here on the forums. Those are Regamasters. Slipstreams are decent for a street wheel, but they are not up to track usage unless it's a very light car like an Elise. Many Lotus guys use them for track wheels without issues, but several FC guys have had them crack very quickly from track usage.

Don't do Slipsteams if you plan to:

a) drive like a Honda owner and run into curbs like the picture above
b) plan to track the car with some sticky compound

I'm not sure they are being made any longer. You can do some eBay and Google searches. There are always some used ones up for sale (although you may have to paint the wheels to whatever color you want).

Is this your 94 R2 Ricer to nicer project?

If so, leave the rotas to the ricers, and save for used regamasters or get something better.

Rotas don't come in the optimum performance widths and offsets for a sports car like the rx7.

that car has since been sold but belonged to one of our clients. We might have even mounted those tires for him.

Those are authentic and i believe he's running the 17x9 +35 setup there on Regamaster EVOs.

Sadly you'd been pretty surprised what kind of widths and offsets they are making in the Phillipines these days.

This listing changes but you can see some decent offset and widths. You always get what you pay for and if you can find USED REGAS in good condition, then refinish them you're good to go.

That and the low price is what lured me to them (15x8's for track use), but never again. They sold me wheels with a design defect that shouldn't have ever gotten off the drawing board, never mind out of the factory and out to customers. Fortunately I discovered the failure before anything bad happened to my car.
