anyone powder coated their wheels white?
I'm considering getting white rims for my 7 or just powder coating my existing one's. Has anyone have any experience in powder coating their rims white or any other color? Where can I go to get it done and how much would it cost? Any information would help. Thanks.

Try your local yellow pages under "powder coating".
I did mine a few weeks ago, for $50 each. http://home.mn.rr.com/linnihan/blade.htm
Here's how they look on the car (pics at top of page) http://home.mn.rr.com/linnihan/pictures.htm
Well worth the cash. Be very careful mounting the tires though. White shows EVERYTHING, including brake dust.
Good luck,

Thanks for the Info, those wheels look great. I'm definately getting my done. I just got a set of cross drill rotors and going to paint the calipers to match the color the car. Attached is a Photoshop generate picture of it.

Looks great!
Make sure you know what you are doing with cross drilled rotors. I'm no expert, but I've heard that they can crack from heat and stress relatively easily. You probably wouldn't need them much unless you road race either.
Channelling some cooling ducts to the front brakes would do enough in the cooling department.
I hear tale that slotted rotars are a bit more stable...

They're 17" Konig Villains, I think white rims on black cars are the sweetest combo. The white wheels make the car stands out so much and it looks great on the road. Just make sure you have a nice glossy black paint job.
