C'mon, you know that funky song...........I think that's actually the title, too.

Sorta like, "She's a brick-------house, .........she's mighty, mighty......"

Nothing but props, dude. Dig yo bad ride.

Hey, I just realized; I'm a funky white guy..........

I thought about going with red to match my car, but I have yet to see a red on red FD, and the red on gun metal looks too good to pass on.

What color Typhoon are you looking for? That's the supercharged V6 blazer GMC made in the early 90's right? I always liked those and the Cyclone trucks!

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I put my powder coated wheels on my car 2 weeks ago for a track event, and they look great. I spent 2 hours yesterday trying to get them off the car so I could put my daily driver BBS wheels back on! The powder and clear coat are so thick, that once you torque your wheels, they are literally stuck to the wheel hub! I ended up prying them off very gently by using a small crow bar between each spoke and the brake caliper.

Just an FYI, give yourself extra time when you rotate or dis mount your powder coated wheels!

My thoughts exactly! I ran them at a track event after Thanksgiving, and they are a S.O.B. to remove after they have been torqued and heated.

I see a Dremel in my future before I put them back on!

Good luck!

Will they be as difficult to remove next time I put them on, or do they tend to go on and off easier each time? Any ideas on what I can do to avoid this sticking issue in the future, since the rims are already done?

Thanks

Batman (or other):

Is the "silvervein" or "near chrome" anything like the new BMW "M" finishes?

The M-roadsters and coupes and M5s have a highly metalic, smokey, graphite-polish type of finish

The E46 M3s have sort of a satin polished finish

Any idea how these are done or who can do them?

I hav an actual sample of the M-Roadster wheel at my garage for comparison....... It's a little shinier, but not as glossy as the near chrome which also looks darker........

I'll try to take a pic or the 2 rims next to each other for comparison........
