Anybody ever used a +22 offset before?

I might buy these bronze Volk Gram lights from a friend of mine. They are 17X9.5 in the rear with a +22 offset. To me, they look alright i guess. It just seems the wheel should go in further. It comes out about an inch or so from the fender right now with only a 255 on it. I was wanting to know if anybody would recogmend this offset, if not what offset should I get if i want a 17X9.5 or 17X10 in the rear. The front wheels are 17X8's, not sure the offset on those, but what would you recogmend on a front offset like that as well? Thanks for your help.

Those won't fit your car. The offsets for a 9.5" width on an FD should be in the 40's.

I've got 17X9.5's in the rear right now, they're +22's. They fit fine. It's the look of them i'm worried about really.

Those aren't even close to fitting. When the wheel sticks out past the fender, that means it doesn't fit.....

I'm gonna guess approximately ~ 1.25-1.5 inches?? from the stock wheel offset of 50, go 1.5 inches wider (~19 mm out each side) then an additional ~28mm outside for the offset?

I gotta agree with Ryberg, that +22mm sounds off to me and should be in the 40's..... I have 9.5 x 17 +40 on a 91 TII and they just fit....but on an FD..... hmmmm
