check out www.importspeedsouth.com. Go to featured cars then click on Jose's RX-7. Sorry I'm too lazy right now to get the exact link but it should be pretty easy for you to find. Have fun ~Cody

ok, cool, any more ?? It looks like im going to be getting them becuase I cant find any multi piece wheels that dont weigh tons. You know I call some people to get some info on the racinghart type cr(I think there new) and they guy told me 37 lbs without tire(18x10), that just doesnt seem right though.

btw, C2's are not considered lightweight. fyi, i weighed my 18x10 to be 26# and 18x8.5 is 22#. Fikse, BBS, Kinesis (i'm sure there are others) are prolly lighter.

FWIW (prolly a repost), here's some more shots of C2s. http://members.shaw.ca/wankelhed/gallery.html

26lbs? I called around and did some research, I was told that the 18X10= 24lbs, 18X8.5= 22 lbs
Fiske and kenesis are way out of my price range, I dont have a $1000+ to spend on "a" wheel.
I kinda thought that it wasnt bad for a multi piece wheel.

If you want reasonably lightweight multi-piece 18" wheels on a budget, CCW wheels are the way to go. Just over 20 lbs for an 18x10 wheel -- about $2000/set or less, depending on options.

rynberg, I look at them, but I dont really like the look of them. I hate to say it but they look cheap. They look like something that would be good for the track. Im not bashing them though, hell I might end up with a set

I completely understand your viewpoint, however, they do look better in person (fully polished anyway). But with your criteria, you really don't have many options.

What about some Volks? You can get GT series wheels in proper offsets in those sizes and they will weigh in the low 20s -- for about $2400-2600. Still a fair bit of cash.

BTW, since you are on a budget, have you priced out 285/30 18 tires?

CCW's seem to be a good choice as an extra set of wheels to mount some track tires on. But I don't think they have the "bling" factor most people are looking for out of their street car.

Try www.Wheelboutique.com or www.wheelmax.com. They have a lot of wide variety of wheels. There's also many sites in some of the stickeyed threads about wheels and such.

And if all else fails search.

yes I know the tires are very exspensive. Im not going with real exspensive ones though, I go through them to quick. From what it looks like, it seems that im going to just get some 17 and through some nice drag radials on there.
im still looking
If I didnt have the money I could find a wheel in 5 min.

ok , I believe I made up my mind. way out of the range I was looking in but I have decided to get 17's. I go through tires fast, so why spend 400+ bucks every 7k miles.
Does anybody know where i find the 17 inch wheels they put on the 7's in Japan? Not the bbs ones on the spirit R's. Anybody have pics?
