any need to shave nitto nt-01s?

wondering if there is an advantage to shaving the NT-01s like there is with the the Toyo RA1s. seems like the design would give way less place for squirm than the RA1, but i figured i would ask.

Shaving the NT-01's would essentially turn the tire into a slick, you would only see 2 circumferential grooves.

i've read on some other forums that it doesnt need to be done. i think when you shave the RA1 you wind up with essentially the same deal. a couple of radial grooves.

No need, they stand up fine when at full tread from everything I've heard and seen. They'll be a bit faster shaved, but that's about it.
