Question Any experience with Team Dynamic Racing?

I may have already made up my mind here, but I just wanted to check if anyone has had any experience with Team Dynamic wheels?

I'm specifically looking at the "Pro Race 2"
http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com/pr...ace-2black.htm

Unless I can get the "Pro Race 1" at an amazing price
http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com/pr...Pro-race12.htm

TIA

Sorry, they are crap with inferior manufacturing methods and materials with rip-off designs.

I have know of 6+ people using these on their solo1-solo2-hondas and spec-miatas with good results. they are heavier then the typical Rota wheel but seem to offer a bit more strength in exchange for the added weight... the T.D. wheels have beefy lips so they should be more dent-resistent if you run low-profile tires in comparison to most Rotas. Of course that is from being used on a sub-2300 pound car.. I dunno if tossing thse on a 2800+ pound daily driven FC is a great idea but I'm sure they will at least last just as long as most other cast wheels (Rota, Enkei, etc).

With respect to being crap I respectfully have to disagree with you on this one Ted. Perhaps their designs are ripoffs, but I know dozens of folks who race these on Spec Miatas (including me) and have been doing so for years. I've seen them hold up very well in some pretty severe crashes and have yet to see one crack. In fact, mine held up after a huge amount of lateral stress was incurred from multiple rolls in August.

Notice the rocks and weeds between the tire and wheels. Wheels are still true after this mess.

Ditto on the generally positive experience from the Spec Miata community (for the 15x7 wheels, at least).

I'm sorry, but these things do not hold a candle to SSR or Rays Engineering.
They CAN work, but I know where these things come from, and they are not produced like some of the better Japan rims.

Rota is another company who just rips off designs.
They are made in the Philippines.

Any forged rim will be stronger (and sometimes lighter).
