Any current replacement for M2 6-Piston Brakes?

I really wanted this brake kit that they offer that fits under stock rims. Obviously there's is no longer avalible so i am looking for someone that puts a similar set together. I have written an e-mail to Wilwood asking if thier setup they sell for the 3rd Gen fits under stock rims but they haven't answered me yet.

My neighbor works here in Charlotte for Brembo making a lot of custom stuff for Cup teams and he said he might try to mach something up if I can get my car up there. I hope to do that if nothing else but I would like to find something that is more affordable. I am sure he can cut me a deal but I have never seen a Brembo set-up that was even remotely inexpensive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just curious, why do you want to fit a bigger brake kit under the stock rims? Will you be doing a lot of tracking?

If so, I would first look into getting "track pads" before spending the money on a brake kit.

I run Porterfields but I keep cracking brake rotors and stuff like that. I see now that it says my street and auto-x pads in my signature. I haven't tried ducting yet but i can see that coming in the near future. I am just debating how I want to do it. I have a friend that has tracked his 7 with a 4 piston Wilwood kit and he had no problems at all without ducting.

I just really liked the 6 piston kit that fit under 16" rims and also it was a great price from M2 although I heard it took forever to get them delivered.

Have you tried the N-Tech pads? A few of us use them and swear by them on the track:

I would try those with the stock brakes first before going for a big brake kit. If those don't do it for you, then look to spend more money (or figure out if something else is wrong). If your brakes are dragging, that could cause a problem with the rotors as they are trying to cool after a track session (just something else to look at).

Don't get me wrong it could be the driver too. I am by no means an exspert and I tend to brake to early and then come off and go back on the brakes. I guess I lack confidence occasionally and I know this has to build more heat in the rotors.

I am wondering if my friend that works for Brembo can make me a hat and rotor that will work with my stock caliper. Does Brembo make a rotor (that bolts to s seperate hat) that is skinny enough to fit? That might be a cheaper alternative.
