Thumbs up Am I the first one?

I just got them. 18x9.5 SSR Comps with 265/35's These things are ******* sweet. They even have cool little SSR valve stems. But NO centercaps...WTF? Should they come with center caps? Also they have the wheel centering ring thing, does SSR not make a FD specific hub?

I'm very happy with them though, they look really good on a black car. You'll have to wait till sunday for pics though.

BTW I have the little SSR decals if anybody wants them, best offer.

Justin

SSR does not make hubcentric wheels. I thought there would be caps, call tire rack. You're aren't the first though. lol.

Later, Rishie

93R1, what tire sizes did you get? How's the fit? FWIW, I think you should put the decals on and not worry about the centercaps. I think they're ugly anyway LOL

Steve Cirian has 18x10's all around on his FD. He's MilesBFree on the board I think. Nice job BTW, get those pics up you know where!

Very, very nice! Bring on the pics, man. What kind of tires did you go with and did you weigh the wheels+tires before mounting them?

I know another gentleman around here named Mike with the setup on some V700s or something. I wasn't aware that the Type C came in a 10" width suitable for stock fendered FDs. He might have the 9.5's that are seen.

I don't have pics but he was at laguna last year during that ALMS race car show thingy.

Center caps were on a one week backorder. They'll be here soon.

Well they are finally mounted on the car and they are bad ***. I'm borrowing a digital cam from a guy at work tomorrow, so hopefully I will have pics tomorrow night. There is plenty of clearance between the wheels and spring/strut on the front and back. Honestly you could probably go with an 18x10 all around and not have any problems as long as the extra 1/2 inch was on the inboard side of the wheel. The closest thing to worry about is the trailing arm but its about an inch away so no worries. I'll probably still roll the fenders just to be 100% safe, but I think they are fine.

Looks like we have another good fitament. 18x9.5 +50 WILL work all around on stock suspension with 265/35's.

Now I just need to lower it like an inch and it will be ****

Well I finally got some pics. I borrowed a friends camera since mine broke. The pics are kinda shitty but you can get a good idea. I couldn't attach the pics here because they are too big, so:

Here's the pics

Damn, I might just have to change my mind and go with 18s to get that size and offset. Looks great though. Please post a follow-up after you do some hard corner hitting and let us know if you get any rubbing.

Actually, I think Steve Cirian has Kinesis K58's in 18x10's. But, the SSR Comps look good. Nice!

Suhwheeet (personally I like the wheels WITHOUT the centercaps, but I'm a "racer-boy" LOL )! Told you they'd fit LOL May go 18s myself. The 265/35-18 fits perfectly on the 9.5 wide. The 50-mm offset is KEY!

Ok, now show me some love by emailing me a full size pic of your avatar (m.lozano@comcast.net) LOL

Cool thanks Dave.

I might just leave the center caps off. They do look kinda gay.
