Alternate RPF1 under 16lbs
With an incoming 400whp build, my ideal wheel and tire setup includes a 17 x 9 wheel, and 255 width tire. As the title states, I'm curious to know what other 17x9 wheel options there are.......that are also 16lbs or less, just like the RPF1's.

This would be a better question for google or fitment industries, but your best bet is to look into the expensive forged Japanese options for light wheels (Advan, Volk, Gram Light, etc). Also, Enkei has more wheels than just the RPFEVERY1, but I assume you've already looked thru their catelogs and haven't seen anything you like. I have the Enkei RS05RR in 18x9.5 +35 and I've been pretty happy with how light they are....and they look killer on this car.

Love the suggestions
The Volk and Advan certainly have several good looking options, but none in a similar price range to the RPF1's. I missed a critical piece on the OP, in that the options also need to be priced in the $300/wheel range. The Advan and Volk wheels, while some aren't available in 17x9 size, definitely meet the 16lb or less criteria, except they're more than twice the cost of RPF1's
(Light, Strong, Inexpensive) pick 2, holds true although I do wonder why the RPF1's meet all 3 of those criteria, unless they aren't strong. My educated guess is they sell a lot, which helps keep price down compared to others.
While I could go to an 18x10 wheel size, I don't think its necessary. My current 315whp build holds traction which is delivered through stock wheels and a 225 Toyo Proxes R1R, even in First gear when conditions are right. This car isn't driven everyday and most of the time its in the warmer Ohio months. With a proper alignment (not overly cambered), the right rubber, Bin mounted battery and full stock interior with Bose sound system, I figure a 255 tire is up to the task of 400whp. The 17" tire has more sidewall and will flex and conform to the ground easier than a 18" 285 tire with a shorter and stiffer sidewall. Look at F1 tires, they have chunky sidewalls. I do wonder how the new 18" wheel vs the 13" wheel will playout. I'm also not looking for infinite grip. I want to feel the car ever so slightly slip when I hit the track late spring.

I think you answered your own question
I had a set of CCW Classics in 17"s from Brent Dalton - heavy and expensive these days under new ownership; poor tire options for 17x11 and 17x10 and weight is why I regretfully sold them
I had a set of SSR Type C's in 18"s from Phil Sohn - lightweight and strong, but currently unobtanium. Weren't the right fit for my build (aggressive offsets all around)
I currently have a set of TE37's 18"s 285's all around and they are good weight (heavier than your goal) and strength, but at $$$ per corner I am sure to not drop wheels in dirtier areas. Tires being a huge cost in track season expendables adds up
I am looking for a set of practice / non-time trial wheels and tires and guess what I am considering...
RPF1 is always a perfect combination of all three and they look awesome, and at a cost where you don't feel bad beating them up with track debris, or having to track down the best of the best tire installers in the area
Best of luck with your build - I love where your heads at
