All the Megan Racing Coilover runners
i have them on my fc. The main reason I got them is you can lower your car without having to give up length in the stroke of the shock. The ride is alittle bumpy but it could be alot worse. The ability to get more negative camber up front has also helped get rid of all understeer.
copy and paste of what i said in another thread
"megans suck! hhaha i have megans and i dont really perfer them.
You can get your car lower by the way, you have to remove some preload on the springs.
I dont really like them, i think the dampening isnt too smooth.. the adjustment **** doesnt feel precise. But they do thier job. Make sure you adjust all coilovers evenly, getting the car corner weighted at a race shop is a good idea too.
If i had the cash i would buy Teins, or Stance, or KTS. I still cant get over the company naming themselves Megan.. thats like having a shop called Mellisa Racing lol."

first off i dont personally have these, but my roommote does on his sc300. and first things first we live in central arkansas and the roads leave something to be
desired. picture this most highways are medium spaced washboards. now my opinion of these coils is they are very descent for the price with the 32 way
adjustment w/ preload and ride height. i really liked the progressive rate springs on them for a daily driver. the 32 adjustment is pretty sweet too it has nice *****
and not crappy screws like some. at full hard they are actually too hard unless you are on a full prepared track; on full soft they are softer than stock. my
roomate runs his somewhere in the mid range not sure hes not here right now. no they do not have the option of the edfc but how often will you really be
changing the dampening. there are a good amount of supra owners running them as well i believe there are a few good reviews of people running them for
over 2 years loving them no problems. I personally liked them on my roomates sc300 and am planning on a set for my fd

on top of that, one manufacturer will have a lot of different coilovers just for one car
in other words there's tons of stuff inbetween

BC Racing has coilovers for the FD and FC. N-02 and N-06 are the part numbers. 10k/8k for the FD and 8k/6k spring rates for the FC. KSport also has Kontrol Pro for the FD/FC, GTPro for the FC, and Slide Control for FD/FC.
BC Racing makes the Megans and Apexi and maybe more. They came out last year with a new design of their own called the BR type. There is a guy who sells them on teamfc3s.org for $985 shipped. I've done quite a bit of research and think I'll probably go that way for my street car. The guys on Evom and NASIOC seem to think pretty highly of them for the price. They are comparable to Tein Flex in features and on the shock dyno.

Justin from the team forums is a very knowledgable and experienced driver and mechanic. I've dealt with him and his former FC in person and for him to endorse such a product is worth noting. If anyone here decides to pick up a set write a review... I'm very interested.
As for Megans, a few buddies of mine have them set up on their Nissans and they seem to be a reliable entry level coilover, but there are certainly better options for a slightly higher price: Stance, Silkroad, BCR etc..

stance GR+pros go for around ~$1200 shipped. Look around there is a great dealer on here who will get them to you for a cheaper price than what he sells them for on his website. (He hooks up the rotary guys). I am in the process of installing them on my FD and have heard nothing but good things.
I asked the same question as you on the meagan's and got nothing but bad comments. Not only on here but I browsed SEVERAL other forum with seeing the same bad reviews.

for the price they're good.. i ran them on my street car for 8+months with no issues.. i also had the super dumped and they didn't blow out.. that impressed me by itself..
they are on the stiff/rigid side, but that could be adjusted with softer spring rates if you preferred.. the dampening is something like 32way adj, but the overall adjustment is more like 8 or so.. you really have to turn it to see/feel differences

from what ive read on club4ag the megans and greddy's are the same coilover...difference is on a AE86 you have to weld your old spindles instead of greddy's coming with new spindles...if im wrong please someone tell me.
Ijust bought Megan coilovers.I found this on an other site,The MR coilovers are also fully rebuildable, with MR's ultra convenient dampener insert exchange program. For $75/corner, they will send you a brand new dampener insert. You then simply return your cores. No downtime, as opposed to traditional dampener rebuilds that require that your coilovers be removed and sent in for service. Rebuild intervals on the MR's average 45K miles, which is comparable to most fixed perch struts.
