can't forget the "why don't you buy wheels that fit" comment. If they only knew!

You either get it, or you don't. Fitment is everything. **** wheels can look awesome in decent fitments, and the reverse is true - so many time's i've seen beautiful wheels made to look **** due to weak fitments.
Exhibit A - banded steels - take one crap wheel, make it fit badass, and presto, an awesome looking car

You either get it, or you don't - it's usually quite evident which side of the fence people sit on

And as for making the car handle like *** and being dangerous? In the scenes i've been involved with, i've never seen a single person suffer an accident due to hardcore offsets, or complain about the handling. hell. The only mildly badass offsets on my S-body mande it handle better - turn in and mid corner grip increased.

If you're worried about safety, check out the drift scene - that's some pretty extreme use those guys give stretched tyres, and they seem to hold up pretty well.

At the end of the day, it's an argument that will go til the end of time. Love it or hate it, it's here to stay.

This thread is inspiration to me, keep it coming guys, i need to figure out what i can run

I hate the internet. I'm having trouble deciding if that's sarcasm or not.

I usually dig some camber action since a lot of my friends in Hawaii were running it on their hachi and what not. On the silver car it just looks off. Haha Hawaii is known for wierd wheel offsets.
