Aftermarket 38mm rims VS Stock 40mm Rims..
Looking at getting some aftermarket 16" rims.
I was told the offset is 38mm. If i was to buy these rims and was to buy a 2mm spacer how would this affect driving/preformance? Would i see any noticable difference?
How hard are these "spacers" to put on?
It's going on a 1990 GXL which has a stock offset of 40mm.
Thank-you!

2mm spacers would reduce the effective offset to 36mm.
2mm is not a big difference, so I don't think the 38mm offset wheels will be a problem for you. Are the aftermarket wheels the same width as the wheels you are replacing?
