Adjustable drop links
Adjustable drop links
Hi
I have recently installed front and rear RB anti roll bars and front and rear adjustable drop links. To fit these drop links is it best to have all 4 wheels off the ground, or when the wheels on the ground or a 4 post ramp? I've heard abot pre loading the sway bars but don't really understand this.
Any help will be much appreciated

Generally you don't want much if any preload on your sway bar; it can release all that pent up energy at inopportune times. It would be best to start by installing them with all of the wheels on the ground.
preloading the sway bar is a no no!
if possible, you want the car sitting on a smooth level surface (such as an alignment rack) and adjust the links so that you can slide the bolts through them with no effort.

Cheers for the replies i've installed them with all 4 wheels off the floor as its in my garage, but when i take it to work to sort the geometry i'll re install them. What sort of settings do people generally use on track?
