Absolute Max backspacing on the Widebody FC W/coilovers

Absolute Max backspacing on the tripoint widebody FC, For anyone running a widebody FC, what rims are you running, and how much backspacing did you leave on the table? I think I can fit a 17x11 up front, and a 17x12.5 in the back. Anyone who is already running rims close to this, how much more room is there? Thanks, Carl

The amount of backspacing possible is not effected by how wide the body is.

On my race car when I had 15x10" wheels they had 5" of backspacing and was as close as I was comfortable with to the coilover springs and other suspension components. They stuck out about 2.5" beyond the fender.

With 17" wheels you might not be able to run that much backspacing. You may need to only have 4.5" or 4.0" of backspacing.

Call tripoint!!.......The should tell you the negative offset of the wheels you need.

I called mariah and the gave me all the info for the front.

I called erebuni and the gave me the info for the rear.

If you have the kit installed, you can you this.

I was really being lazy, and yes a widebody has no effect on backspacing (I put that in to get some feedback on some of the wheel combos people may be using on their widebodies). The stock backspacing is 5-1/2 FWIW. I believe~6" is max in back(trailing arm), and a little less in the front I'll go to the shop, measure, and post the results. Tripoint can only tell me what they ran, not max. They ran a 17x10 up front vs me 17x11, and a 17x11rr, VS me 17x12. Also they ran 275-40, and 315-35, I will be running 315/335. Carl
