ABS on FD for street/track - to be or not to be?
The ABS light has been on since I brought my FD into service in the fall. They mentioned a hanging brake wire, which makes me think they connected it because the light on the dashboard wasn't on before.
Some of the track school instructors were puzzled last spring because they thought the FD had ABS. I've also driven on the track on lapping days and I didn't have a problem with braking distances or locking up.
Should I leave ABS disabled and just get the dash light turned off or should I fix the ABS issue in the spring? The FD is set up to be about 90% street/ 10% track, generally. I did some research and it's probably something simple like a fuse or sensor.
The previous owner (a track instructor and time attack champion) says he did not disable ABS, but he did remove cruise control to save weight.

Thanks – I'll get it fixed when the FD comes out of storage in the spring.
