99 spec, Bathurst / Type R, Mazdaspeed 17" wheels

Does anyone have any definitive specs on the wheel weight (in lbs), width, offset etc on
99 spec 17x8 wheels
Bathurst / Type R 17"wheels
Mazdaspeed MS01 or MS01s 17x8 wheels

I've seen different weights from sellers and posts and wanted to clarify.

Looking for an autocross light weight wheel setup in 17x8 (SCCA limits my width, diameter, etc)
Originally looked for Volk TE37, but kinda interested in the OEM JDM look too.
Looking for the lightest OEM JDM wheel in 17x8 to search to buy.
Thanks!

AFAIK, all three of these wheels came in a staggered setup, 17x8, 17x8.5, +50 for the two JDM sets on your list, the Mazdaspeeds, 17x8, 17x9, +35, +34, respectively.

If you're looking for a lightweight 17x8 wheel, I'd look into 949 Racing.

17x8 6UL 5 Lug

16.1 lbs, 5x144.3 PCD, and +48.

Don't have the numbers in front of me but I have had all of them.

The lightest is the silver 17" 5 spoke wheels 8J F 8.5J R on the 1996-2002 RS versions. 8.5J X4 in this flavor is very popular track setup over here for lots of different cars, weight is elite and the price is not.

Bathurst type R had 16" wheels and the small brakes on the US models.

The mazdaspeed MS01 is heavy, really heavy. The MS-01S on the other hand is very light but they were 8.5J F 9.5J R for the FD.

I can measure the weight of the MS01S on a bathroom scale for you this week.
I believe they are 8.5 +40 and 9.5 +38.

You might want to look for OEM BBS wheels as well.
8 and 8.5 +50.

OEM BBS's are sexy but they are not as light as the 5 spoke RS or MS-01S.

My daily has the 2001 RZ BBS version now.

Cool

I'm sure you guys will be surprised to hear me telling you how awesome Fikse wheels are

FACT: an FM10 (mesh) 17x8 +30 Fikse forged T6 aluminum three-piece wheel weighs in at 16.9 pounds.

You'll have a hard time beating that in a three piece wheel, that's for sure

Anyone wanting a price quote get in touch via PM, they're currently running a summer special

I'm crazy enough to buy two sets or buy a unicorn 17x8 x 4 set

love love the MS-01S. reminds me of my volk te37s.
sad that it doesn't come in the size i'm looking for.

any pics of the 1996-2002 RS?
I couldn't find any after a little google search

or anyone have a real idea of the weight of the OEM 99 spec wheels?
