The ABS on my recently purchased 93 R1 are not working, the BAS idiot light stays on, and the front wheels lock when braking very hard, and stay locked until i ease off the pedal. Anyone here have any advise on troubleshooting?

Sounds like an ABS sensor that goes from the hub to a connector in the engine bay. I just did mine. Problem is which one eh? Go to iluvmyrx7.com and check out the factory service manual to get info on how to test. If you find the bad one, post a message in the parts for sale section and pic one up used for $40-50. They are $135 new at malloy mazda. I just fixed that on my car.
