'87 t2 wheels question

I've been searching, but havent' found an answer yet.
So i want a 16x8 wheel. Can i have a 16x8 wheel with a 225 tire all around with out any problems? I don't want to have spacers. If not, would i need to go with a 16x7or 7.5 with a 215? Also what is a good website that list a lot of wheels and their specs (weight)? Thanks in advance?

I agree. I have 225s all around on my stock 16x7 wheels. Just make sure you get the correct offset.

Your best option is to buy a set of FD wheels and use 15mm hubcentric spacers. REgardless of what people say I highly reccommend spending the $240.00 on the full set of spacers and another $350.00 at most on the wheels. This means you'll have 14-15 lb O.E. wheels and spacers for $600.00.

This can't be beat. There's no better option in my opinion for the FC. Not for that price. Let me know if you need some more assistance or details.

That's for studded hubcentric track proven spacers.

We can get you the spacers. They are H&R trek spacers. Let me know if you're interested. Might even have a line on some FD wheels locally. Would have to check though.

thanks, Rishie

Damn you're close too.

Be careful what spacers you order. Call and I'll make sure you get the right ones.
